Belfield Strategy Group (BSG) is the official student consulting group of University College Dublin, Ireland's largest university, and amongst the most prestigious universities in Europe.
Belfield Strategy Group is one of a kind group on campus offering opportunities to students to engage in consulting events, case study competitions, field office trips and skill-building workshops, with the ultimate goal being of preparing students for a career in the consulting sector.
Case Competitions
Each year, we prepare teams to represent UCD at intervarsity competitions along other ISCG branches.
Teams work on case studies to find ideal solutions to a given problem and finally present their proposal to a panel of judges. This is one of the best ways to broaden your knowledge of the consulting industry and make valuable connections.
Client Projects
We offer our members great opportunities to work on ISCG client projects that involve real companies and real-life scenarios, which is a valuable experience to have when applying for internships.
These projects range from social impact projects to commercial projects. Our members have worked on projects such as Dogpatch Labs, riley, EthiCart and Zipp.
Social Events
We run a variety of social events during the year, such as pub quizzes and annual balls with the other ISCG branches.

We work with businesses of all sizes and locations. Our committee works directly with our partners to host events and distribute materials that give our members deeper insights into some of the top firms around the world.

Who we are and what is our mission
We are a fully student-run group representing the UCD branch of the ISCG network. Our members are ambitious and career-oriented students who are interested in learning more about and potentially pursuing a career in, consulting and other professional services.
Our aim is to put together the best and most useful workshops, opportunities and trainings to prepare our members for a career in consulting. We also partner with top consulting and professional services firms to host insight events that give our members deeper knowledge of the opportunities available at specific firms
