Jeremy Boles: Account Manager & Blockchain Lead for ditto

What is your background/ experience with ISCG and what are you currently doing?

I joined ISCG shortly after it formed in 2014 and worked on the first project with Horizon Engineering. I subsequently worked on several client projects, 7 I think, and joined the management team where I wore many hats including leading the creation of a Membership Development function which built out the education, training, and recruitment across our then 5 branches. I also started the Project Seed initiative, co-founding the sister organization in Tanzania.

I am currently working for a specialist B2B Fintech & Emerging tech marketing consultancy called ditto where I led the blockchain practice.

What did you enjoy most/find most beneficial about ISCG?

It has to be the people! I made some great friends throughout my time in ISCG who I continue to learn from and hang out with to this day.

How do you think your experience with ISCG has helped you generally and/or in your career?

In so many ways. The methodologies and principles learnt have been applicable throughout my career to date, helping me tackle big problems logically. The network has been invaluable. And the excitement and fun has stuck with me and directed me in a career that I can love every day.

To be more specific - I think the skills and ways of thinking have helped me grapple problems faster and brought more career opportunities to me than lots of peers. The presentation and communication skills and practice cannot be understated either - I’ve had to spend a lot of time in meetings with CEOs/management teams since and have never been daunted by it because I started in my second year of college.
